Asthma & Anaphylaxis Combined Course

22556VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace & 22578VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

This is a combined course that includes a module on Asthma treatment, and another on Anaphylaxis. 

 

The Asthma module will cover Asthma Emergency Management with the skills and knowledge to deliver blue reliever medication in an asthma attack. The Anaphylaxis module will cover Anaphylaxis recognition and first aid principles, including assessment of Epi-pen/Anapen administration.

 

Both modules are in accordance with State and Territory guidelines in:

 

• Kindergartens


• Workplace


• Schools (including excursions)


• Sports envoironments, .i.e. Coaches, support staff etc

How long will it take?

Approx. 1 and 1/2 hours contact time, 1:00pm beginning and 2:30pm end.

How long is the certificate valid?

This Course has a standard curriculum Australia-wide. It is recognised in all states of Australia and your certificate will be valid for 3 years.
