How do I book into a course?
Booking into one of our courses is quick and easy. Simply go to the booking page of our website, choose the course that is right for you and click on the link “Book now”. Complete the booking form making sure you use your USI, Unique Student Identity number to ensure that we issue a certificate to you at the end of your course. (For more information on the USI, see below).
If you have any difficulties whatsoever with booking online, please call us on 1300 661 065 and we will help you or even book you in over the phone.
What barriers could prevent me from passing the course?
There are a number of factors which could prevent you from passing our courses. The most likely is a language barrier. If English is NOT your first language you may struggle with some aspects of understanding the course. The other primary barrier would be some sort of physical disability that prevented you from completing the practical exercise of performing CPR on a mannikin. Whatever your challenges, rest assured we will do whatever we can to give you the best chance of getting through your course.
Can I do first aid training just for my own personal needs?
Yes. While all of our courses are fully accredited, meaning you will get a certificate at the end of the course which is required if you do the training for work, you can still just do the course for your own purposes. If you are a parent of a young child for example you may wish to do first aid training so that you can help your child if they get into trouble or danger. We would more than welcome you to do training for that reason.
What physical actions do I need to be able to perform in order to complete my training?
We conduct all our training under ARC guidelines which state that to pass your CPR training, you need to demonstrate that you can perform CPR continuously for 2 minutes on a mannikin which is on the floor in order for you to pass your training. You also need to demonstrate the correct technique for performing CPR as has been taught to you by your trainer. If you cannot physically achieve this, we are unable to pass you unfortunately as we must comply with ARC guidelines.
Where can I find reviews of your courses?
We have literally hundreds of 5-star reviews on both facebook and Google. In fact on Google we have over 4,000 reviews all of which are 5-star.
See them all here: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=results+first+aid
